Why Hope?

Hope  gives people the strength to continue fighting for what they believe in and never give up, even in the face of adversity. It gives them the ability to comeback time after time to become the person they want to be with the people they want to be with. Without hope, it can be easy to become overwhelmed by negative thoughts and emotions. It’s easy to be totally buried in life by life from life, but with hope, it is possible to see a light at the end of the tunnel. It becomes possible to want more, feel more and be more. Hope is an essential tool in achieving goals and living a fulfilled life.

Here are a few things you can do in your daily life to get an extra dose of hope before life happens:

  1. move your body 20-30 minutes daily

  2. spend time in prayer, meditation, or quiet reflection

  3. listen to music you love

  4. fill your mind with positivity from books, blogs, podcasts or other ways to take in the encouraging word you need or thoughts to focus on for the day

  5. spend time in the sunshine

  6. create routines and schedules that allow you to accomplish things you have to get done as well as freeing up time for what you want to be doing

I hope you will fight for you!  I hope that you will find ways to keep your heart strong and your will stubborn towards your dreams. I hope you will explore the things that make you happy and that you find ways to add them in to your daily life. I hope you know that all success looks different. Define your type of success. Define what brings you joy. Define what gives you hope and go after it!

I hope no matter what comes your way you will never give up.  I hope that even in the face of adversity you will hold on to what you know and prove to yourself over and over that you can achieve anything you want. I hope you become so confident that it’s not a matter of “if” but a matter of “when.”
